Trust, harmony, good will, and humility

Written 2023

I have been finding here a community, a place of work (outer and inner) to interact with others, my soul, the natural environment of trees, earth, animals, water and air. I read a lot from Sri Aurobindo, Mother and some commentators like A. S. Dalal. I don’t pretend to know anything about the philosophy of Sri Aurobindo and Mother. I can’t recite any quotes. But in my heart, there is a love that is growing with in spite of some abysmal downs from my own story and because of the events happening here the last 18 months.

I have the feeling I am here for walking on the Way of Transformation, individually and collectively, and that sometimes there’s a trace of Grace which is taking shape inside and around and through my Body/Soul or Soul Body being. In the very difficult hours, days, months, we have been going through in the last months in Auroville, I have been discovering I’m not here to fight or explain to others what to think or what to do. I’m here to connect with the Divine and sometimes in my different activities interacting intimately with Aurovilians, gardening, meditating in Matrimandir or in Ashram of Sri Aurobindo, walking in nature, being part of community events among incredible Aurovilians from all nationalities and cultures, and their invitees.

Sometimes a part of my heart is opening to the immanence, to the Tao, to the Divine.

Sri Aurobindo and Mother also sent to me some messages about joining them and surrendering to the mystery of life with joy and smiles.

De-identification, compassion, empathy, smiling to yourself and to your aggressor. These last months have been an accelerator on my way. I have no hate for anyone, but I’m feeling that if we want to walk on the way of Human Unity, it would be easier and more efficient for us to try to be in trust, harmony, good will, good sense and humility, far from Spiritual Ego.

I know perfectly well that writing this letter is not the best way to manage my administrative future in Auroville, but what to do, only to be true and Humble.
